Online Learning

Supporting your child's learning at home via online tools and activities is hugely beneficial and something we have always championed at Oatlands School. Using the same or similar apps and resources as we use in school helps children understand that learning is something that can be done anywhere, not just in school and it gives you a valuable insight into how and what they are being taught.

Recently we have come to rely much more heavily on online resources. We have been excited to find and use some excellent, innovative and fun activities and have really enjoyed seeing the children (and the parents) react positively to them.

Should circumstances once again require individual families, whole classes or entire year groups to isolate at home we want to ensure that our provision of remote learning is as good, if not better than you have already experienced.

Please also familiarise yourself with the websites, apps and resources listed below many of which we use in school every day. These can be accessed at anytime and contain lots of great activities which you can use to have fun with your child and support their learning. Should you require to keep your child off school, you may wish to look at some of these resources with your child as it will largely be similar content that they would be accessing in school.
